Description
A vintage pair of gold colored earrings that we are guessing date to circa. 1940’s or 50’s. The 2 round dangles show the US Capital building behind a bubble of glass with the words Washington D.C. underneath. Each round dangle measures approximately 1/2″ across. The clip-on, or screw-on, posts for fastening to your earlobe are threaded and turn freely. Each post is capped by a ‘diamond’ which we assume is cut glass but they do sparkle nicely.
We have purposely not cleaned these up leaving that up to the buyer. Nice set of vintage Americana.
